Map once, report from the ledger
Mapping workbench
Paste a trial balance, map each account to the CACOA once, and watch the State Controller's report fill in. It works the way the GovGlider Navigator reporting engine does: the mapping is the thing you manage, and every form follows from the mapped trial balance.
Your numbers stay in this browser. Nothing is uploaded or stored on a server. The grid is kept in this browser's storage so it is here when you come back; Clear removes it.

Why map instead of rebuild
Most FTR time goes to translating a local chart into state lines, again every year. A mapping is done once and reviewed when accounts change; the report is then a view of the ledger, not a new spreadsheet.
Why CACOA strings map themselves
Every CACOA fund, function, and object already carries its FTR placement, so an account coded to the CACOA needs no mapping at all. See how the crosswalk works.
What it does not do
It does not file anything or replace the State Controller's own edits. Totals and statistics that LGRS calculates are left to LGRS. Check any single account in the FTR finder.
